Nothing to be Alarmed About

I’ve set this site up as a supplement to my book ‘Nothing to be Alarmed About’. What might that ‘nothing’ be? The outbreak of poliomyelitis in Britain in 1938. Why might it have been alarming? I attempt to answer that question in the book. Here, on this site, I plan to upload various posts: basic data, appendices to the book, subsequent enquiries and further thoughts.
